Renting a campervan

My family and I recently rented a campervan from Autosleepers in Banksia Sydney who are one of our website and SEO/SEM customers.

The guys at Autosleepers (www.autosleepers.com.au) have a range of campers suitable for groups of 2-6 people. The smallest ones available are Suzuki mini campers with the larger motorhomes being either Fiat Ducato's or Mercedes vans.

The camper that we rented was a Fiat Ducato that was suitable for 4 people. The Fiat came equipped with 2 double beds (one was even long enough for me and I am 196cm!) hot and cold water, air con, a shower and a toilet. The campervan had 12v plus 240v power (you have a seperate lead that you plug in to a power point) plus all of the pots and pans, plates, linen and camp chairs etc that you need to make your camping trip a great success.

On our trip we went out west to Hill End. I hadn't been there since I was at school but it hasn't changed at all. The kids really enjoyed it and loved panning for gold and getting up close with the local kangaroos.

The Fiat was extremely easy to drive (automatic) and really economical for a large vehicle. The guys at Autosleepers were extremely helpful and organised.

If you are interested in renting a campervan I would recommend giving them a call. They are good value for money however if you are looking to compare them to other suppliers then you could look at www.britz.com.au or www.apollocamper.com.au.

The great thing about camper vans is that if you are not happy with the place you have picked for your holidays then you can simply pack up your van and move elsewhere.
